Edinburgh, Scotland… I Miss You

There is not much I can say about Edinburgh except that it surprised me in the best way possible. I was expecting London to be life changing. I wasn’t expecting to fall so in love with Edinburgh. Its delicious, warm pubs, its bustling but quiet streets. Edinburgh Castle, New Town, Old Town… The White Lady, Zara, Paul… I have been obsessing ever since we left, in 2010.

We walked 18 miles a day, ate sticky toffee pudding after every dinner, toured the castle for hours, shopped, braved the bus, picked out our future home, and visited Christmas carnivals. Edinburgh was enchanting, and I can’t get back soon enough.

xoxo, Mallory
