34 Weeks

34 Weeks Pregnant

I’ve had a request for clothing sources, and at the risk of saying “Old Navy” too many times (seriously, Old Navy makes some awesome and cheap stretchy non-maternity clothes for maternity ladies) I’ve decided to oblige. Warning, I tend to keep my clothes for a long time, so providing links to buy them may not happen much. Anyway:

Sweater: Banana Republic Factory (similar), Jeans: Eddie Bauer, Belly Band: Motherhood Maternity, T-Shirt: Old Navy (similar)

How far along: 34 Weeks.

How big is baby: 4 3/4 ish lbs, or an average cantaloupe.

Total weight gain: about +20lbs.

Maternity Clothes: No… but I may need some soon. We’re getting uncomfortable big up in here.

Sleep: Well, I have a cold. So sleep has been a little rough. Waking up to pee 6 times a night isn’t as easy to swallow when your throat feels like sandpaper on fire and you can’t breathe.

Best moment of the week: My hubs coming home a day early – just in time to take care of his poor, sick, pregnant wife.

Food Cravings: Good Chinese.

Food Aversions: Can’t really think of any.

Symptoms: Well, pregnancy un-comfortablity + sick un-comfortablility makes for a cranky lady. And I have made it to the point in my pregnancy where it isn’t as easy to sit, either due to the lack of space in my ribs or the pain in my back.

Movement: It’s not as frequent by far, but when he moves, he MOVES (just like that). It’s pretty awesome to see my whole belly wiggling around with his movements.

What I’m looking forward to: Some Christmassing this week and weekend!

What I miss: Cold weather. Seriously guys, it’s 75 degrees outside. What is this crap?!

xoxo, Mallory

Look at how beautiful you are! Glowy and serene [or so it looks]. I know you FEEL uncomfortable but you don’t LOOK uncomfortable. Also, you child DOES need to marry UK royalty. For real.

Thank you! I had this nasty cold yesterday (when I took this picture) too, so I’m glad I at least look like I’m feeling good 😉

Totally agreed. Baby Kate Middleton, watch out. Baby Bear is waiting.

34 weeks! Yippee to you, the hub, and the babe! Way to go!

Today (one way or another) we head out to meet our little lady at the hospital- unless she has other plans. 😉

We went for a hike/run yesterday. Yes, at 41 weeks a hike at altitude that ran along the face of the canyon was lovely. I even ran on the downhill part back to the car! We found some great trail running trails, too! I look forward to those when SHE is here on the “outside” form … and who knows when that’ll be given the weather. (Maybe more quickly as it was mid 50s yesterday…)

I can’t believe you went trail running at 41 weeks! SO awesome 🙂

      Good luck to you Wendy!!

You gotta do what you gotta do! Right now if the hub wasn’t working on a parody for a final, I’d suggest it again. (Sanity…)

Plus, I wanted to show myself I *could* do it. I stopped when the trail hit a sagebrush door, because I knew the upcoming trail had a drop off and I didn’t trust my balance.

It reaffirmed that I will be able to be back out there in due time! 🙂
